hi I just installed kali linux on my other partition and all of a sudden my windows is not opening because it has blocked some driver thing and when i boot to linux my pc either freezes out of nowhere or it just messes my screen up and freezes, it has also rebooted on its own numerous times so PLEASE HELP!!!!!!. Oh I forgot i have tried to restore, use recovery options that came with the installation CD, I have tried using system restore, I am just lost I don`t know what to do. So again please please help.

Solution
If Clearing an CMOS does not work, then the only option is to go to a hardware store and reflash your OS, or just try to boot it from a usb what smorizio has adviced

why do you need kali linux on your pc? and i think you screwed something while flashing in kali linux. the only option i see is to go to a hardware store and reflash your windows on your motherboard

i think you did something that made the pc reboot and screwed something up in the process, clearing CMOS maybe?

with any os the main hard drive master boot record must be undamaged. if you install two different os then they can over write the master boot record and not boot. try making a new windows boot usb stick. boot from it and go into dos command lines. try using diskpart. try clearing and making a new windows 10 mbr. if you cant and you dont care about the data on the drive use diskpart clean. wipe the drive and then reload windows.

simple, open your pc and remove the little CMOS battery inside for a few seconds, then put it back in. if there is a jumper inside, move it to the other pins and restart your pc, it will now clear the CMOS, when done, place the pins from the jumper back how it was in the beginning, and there, you cleared the CMOS

This is the CMOS battery:

And this is the jumper (if there is a jumper):

let me know if it has worked ;)

clearing a CMOS is nothing else than doing a factory reset on a BIOS /UEFI. like hitting the reset button on a wifi router
