In my bios, I set the vcore voltage to 1.25. I'm using HWmonitor to watch it, and the max it reached was 1.322.

I'm also looking at it through cpu z and the core voltage has been staying between 1.224 and 1.236. Not sure if this program keeps track of min/max like hwmonitor though?

I'm using a gigabyte motherboard and it's bios version is f22

edit: actually I was looking at hwmonitor wrong. I was looking at the voltage section underneath the i7 tab, the actual vcore is listed under the mobo tavb.

Well, sort of. The voltages reported are from different sensors.

HW Monitor does pull in a core voltage (VID) that is basically what the CPU thinks it needs and would demand from the motherboard when set to auto.

Load Line Calibration can also exceed the set core voltages.
