BIOS ask for both CPU1/CPU2 power cables to be plugged in

The MB i'm using is x299 Gaming Pro Carbon and the power supply i'm using is Corsair RM 1000x . Every time i boot it up, it resets all my OC settings and when i set them back it displays the, make sure both CPU 1/CPU2 cables are properly plugged in. 8 pin CPU1 is properly. I don't have a 4 pin connector though. Maybe i'm stupid or can't find the cable or i don't know what i'm doing. I tried looking online for one but all i found were extensions. My question is, where do i find one or maybe i have it but just don't know which one it is. Also yes i am overclocking but even if the 8 pin is enough, i would like to have the 4 pin just for security's sake. Thanks

well that extra 4pin is just for overclock, its same as 4pin eps (p4 connector)
not sure if they are still making, but look for molex to 4 pin eps

That model ships with 2 8-pin eps cables(4=4 so it will work in an 8 pin or 4 pin connector). If you have lost the 2nd cable contact Corsair and buy a replacement. A whole cable kit is ~$100 but a single EPS cable shouldn't cost too much.

that depends on load
with molex to eps 4 pin u cant use full 14 amper, as it uses just single yellow 7 amper cable
but still its 84watts of extra power supply, some mild overclock would be fine, extreme overclock may not be good, psu will shut down to prevent damage
