Yep, the title says it all.

MSI B450M BAZOOKA or ASrock B450M PRO4 ?

Theyre both at the same price.

I will use an 1600X, cuz the price difference between B450 and B350 is insignificant here.

Thanks in advance! :)

Pro4 has 3 phases...the Bazooka has 4 phases on the VCore VRM. That said the Pro4 does have a good overclocking reputation for a B450 mATX board. The VSoC heat sink, while nice, isn't a differentiator unless running an APU and in some cases it has to be removed to clear top fans anyway.

The option of popping in a second full-length PCIex16 is nice but remember it is wired for x4. Not that it's any different from any other B450 board since it's a limitation of Ryzen and the B450 chipset.

Need to double check that... it is not a 6 phase VCore VRM, it is a 3 phase with 2 lo-side and 2 hi-side FET's and 2 chokes. This has been much discussed in overclocking forums. The extra parts along with that nice heatsink helps make it a cool running 3 phase but it is what it is.

BTW: if the Bazooka is true to form for most of MSI's other B450 boards it has a 4 phase VCore VRM also with 2 hi side and 2 lo-side FETS but with one inductor per phase. But that's speculation I admit since I've not seen any with the heatsink removed to know.
