Ok so I am buying ram that doesn't have a heatspreader and I tried looking around for heatspreaders to put on them. I could barely find anything other than on eBay and they all were cheap and they looked it too. While looking around I read some forum posts from people asking if heatspreaders do anything and everyone replies with 'they are for looks you will be fine as long as you're not overclocking' (which doesn't make sense because they are trying to say they don't do anything for cooling). So I want to find a heatspreader that is intended to actually help with cooling just in case I do overclock but the one thing I found that was adequate was a water-cooled kit which is way too overboard, overpriced and I don't have water cooling to begin with.

So could I have help finding ram heatspreaders that aren't just for aesthetics and can actually help with cooling? I live in Australia so if you link a no Aussie ebay, amazon or newegg item I probably won't be able to buy that exact one without paying $100 shipping

I wouldn't count on being able to overclock it a whole lot. If you want high speed RAM get a high speed kit.

Out of curiosity, what CPU/mobo do you have?

Well I bought the cheapest ram I could possibly find so when you get that low any way of saving money is taken.

As said, it does not need it.
Anything you put on there would be strictly for looks. And may make the heat situation worse.

I have r5 2600 and msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac. With my limited budget, I could either get 2666mhz (the one I linked before) or g.skill value ram 2400mhz (this)
