Hello everyone, I have an HP 600 G1 motherboard i want to transfer to another case. The problem is that the CPU cooler is an hp product and the cooler screws into the case with no back plate. How am i able to use this cooler in another case, can i just bolt it on with small nuts because i cannot find a back plate for the cooler. Screw holes are 100mm apart and 70 mm apart. Ive searched everywhere and cant find a back plate. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I can't tell you specifically for that computer, but I can tell you that one of the drawbacks to using a pre-built computer is the components may be proprietary. That is, things like motherboards may be designed to work with that particular computer case.

If you want to be able to mix and match components as needed, then you are better off building your own computer. This means all components, such as motherboards, need to come from companies like Asus/MSI/etc, not HP/Dell/etc.

You'll probably need to fabricate something if you really want to use this motherboard in a non HP case.
