EXE on CD displays error Windows cannot access the specified file ....

When I insert one specific disc on a specific laptop and attempt to run the setup on it, it gives me the error "D:\Setup : Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I can run the setup.exe on the same CD on any other computer and I can also run other exe's on the troubled laptop just fine. It is just this one CD on this one laptop that I am having problems with. If I copy the setup.exe to the desktop it works but that doesn't help me because it is a program that needs the CD to be inserted to run.

I have admin and like I said, can run other executable's from other CDs just not this specific CD. The CD also works on other laptops. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me and I am not sure what to do. The OS is windows 7.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

It may be just a little headbutting between that specific CD and that specific CD drive.
I've seen cases where it works in one drive but not another.

From a different system, copy the whole thing and burn it to a new CD. See what happens.
