Hi so basically for a couple weeks now I have been experiencing packet loss and high ping when i'm playing games and wheh I'm pinging google.com in my command prompt I have also tried pinging my router and tried doing this in safe mode I also have tried running the same tests on my old windows 7 pc and I was getting no packet loss. it's got to the point where I'm trying to fix it for 5+ hours everyday and its stressing me out. I have called my ISP I had multiple technicians come and check what the problem is and they found nothing. They have installed a new router in and even checked the wiring inside of my house and even outside. One of the technicians told me that it was most likely on my pc. So I tried to do a network reset, even checked my ethernet to see if it was the problem but it wasn't because even when I used the wifi I was getting the same problem. So i thought maybe its the network card inside my pc but that wasn't it either I tried use a NETGEAR A6200 wifi adapter and still same results so it wasnt my network card. I have even tried to do a sfc /scannnow and it found nothing. So now I just reset my pc and was hoping for it to be fixed and still was getting the same results. I have been pinging google.com in cmd so much and I just keep getting request time outs and packet loss in game when playing.

You need to work in small steps.

First thing is to draw a simple network diagram showing all nodes and their IP address.

What performance do you get if you ping your router (from your PC)
What performance do you get if you ping another PC on your network.
What do you get if you ping your PC from another device inside your network

That then gives you an idea of your internal network. If that is not performing then you need to focus there first.

Do you have the latest BIOS on your router.

Do you have the latest BIOS and drivers on your PC.

So I just tried pinging my router and I didn't get any packet loss.
I also just tried pinging google and my router on my other pc and I found no packet loss and I used the same ethernet and wifi adapter I used. And I have the latest BIOS and drivers on my pc and router

I am still getting packet loss on my main pc. And I tested it within cmd promt and in game shows packet loss and high ping. When I tested using my other old pc I had no packet loss in the test with the same ethernet cord.

I am getting it both on cabled and wifi and my ISP already checked my modem and the cabling and I only use a single router with no modem.

I also just figured out my motherboard has built in wifi with built in ethernet slot to pcie

If you get packetloss and high ping it might be bufferbloat.
Do you have any way to see the total bandwidth you're using from the router?

bufferbloat happens when there is a bottleneck. if your net is 10Mbs and you are swamping it, packets will buffer on the isp side.
if your internet is 50Mbs and you're on wifi it might buffer @ 30Mbs on your wifi depending on signal quality.

buffering causes high latency and packet loss by design.

if it turns about to be bufferbloat read below. i highly recommend this one specific qos for gaming. $50 ERX router can handle 100Mbs internet.

Hey so I did test bluffer bloat yesterday and today and I got A on all my tests. Also I just got a new network card the tp link 3468 hoping that it would fix my problem. But unfortunately It didn't work. What do you think i should try now?

Are you already running some sort of qos now? bufferbloat test is for testing aqm. if you're not running any aqm and it's an A then it's not swamping your connection.

Just confirming.

Another PC on your network does not have a problem.

It is only this PC. You have tried a new network card and you still see problems.
So it would indicate a problem at OS level or Motherbaord level.

Can you try running a live Linux cd (Ubuntu or Fedora) and testing. That will determine if it is an OS problem or a common HW problem.
