Hi, i am fairly new here so just done some research before that let me tell what i do. So i am a 3d artist where work comes first priority that includes heavy modeling, texturing, lighting in ( MAYA, 3DMAX, ALIAS, PHOTOSHOP,ADOBE PREMIER and so on ) and gaming not 24/7 but sometimes, so i don't what any compromises "in a way" for my computer, so here are my major spec consideration.
Which one should i choose
CPU
1 7900x intel
2 2700x amd
or any suggestion is fine
GPU
1 1080ti
2 quadrio
or any suggestion is fine
RAM
1 Tridentz 32gb
2 Dominator 32gb
M.2
1 EVO 960 1tb
PWR
any 850 or 1000 w

Money is a concern but i could at max do $1650
Thanks

The I9-7900x and the Ryzen 7 2700x are not in the same league. The first one costs $ 900 and the second one $ 320. In addition, the I9 needs the expensive LGA2066 mobo and it would be out of the budget. The natural competitor of the Ryzen 7 2700x would be the i7-8700K of about $ 360. The natural competitor of the I9 would be the Ryzen TR 2950X also of about 900 $.

For your profile I would choose the Ryzen 7 2700x. I7-8700K would be better for just gaming.

For your multitasking profile (CAD, rendering, gaming, Maya), GTX is better. Quadro would be adequate if it were exclusively CAD. Anyway there are many different models of quadro.

Once chosen the mobo should choose the DDR RAM of speed 3200 ensuring that it is compatible with your mobo. For ryzen, Flarex they have a good fame, but there are others that would go well.

Samsung Evo 970 is more recent. Make sure it is NVME.

550w-600w is enough, except if you intend to put two GTX. Make sure that the PSU is of excellent quality (gold).

Thank u for answering my thread sir.
One more thing, you said to go with 2700x is it beacuse of budget or its just better that way and
if i want to go for x299 platform is msi pro series x299 sli good or just drop the idea completely and go for threadripper platform.
I dont have that much of experience but i just think higher core and thread count maybe usefull in long run.

Anyway Thank you for your respondes i appreciate it sir.
