Are Noise-Cancelling/Travel Headphones Good for Gaming?

Hi all,

Going on a plane flight (20-24h) in a week's time and I am looking to purchase some good headphones for travel - but also very much for gaming, talking to friends, and listening to music as I will be using whatever headphones/headset I purchase after I travel for hopefully as long as possible. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? My budget is pretty much any price under $250 USD.

I ended up purchasing the HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Gaming Headset. It cancels a decent portion of noise and the sound is brilliant. And it's wireless. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a pair of headphones for gaming (long term) and also want to use them for travel.

Would the Sennheiser 4.50s be good for both travel and gaming?

I don't game, so I can't answer that. I use mine exclusively for travel.
