I have CPU amd a8 and ram 4 but the usable ram 1 only I installed windows 8.1 64 bit it's increased to usable 2 g
What I do to increased to 4 g

Solution

The built in GPU is likely using 2GB of your ram. You should be able to lower this in the Bios.
Or you could add another 4GB
