Hey guys. I’ve been having this problem for a couple of days now. When ever I open up a game a couple minutes after play both my monitors will go black and say no signal. My PC doesn’t shut off though. I am still able to hear and talk to my friends on discord but am unable to see anything on my screen. I also realized that it happens quicker with more intensive games. And doesn’t happen at all with games like borderlands. Just as a side not I am able to use my computer normally untill I open games.

Mobo: Asus prime z370 a
Gpu: gigabyte gtx 1070
Cpu: i7 8700k

Thanks

The reason I asked those questions is that I had similar problems when I purchased a 1060 when they first came out. It turned out that my year old power supply could not provide the correct power for the card. I don't know if your current power supply and video card worked correctly in the past but I had to change my power supply to correct the problem.

How old is your power supply and what make and model is it? Also if you use a video benchmark program to see if it crashes do the temperatures look OK? A last thing to do is to use a program like HWMonitor to see if your voltages are correct.

Hey sorry about the late reply. My psu is the cx550m and I haven't had for more than 2 years. probably around 1.5 years. I did some benchmarking test and everything seemed fine. my gpu and cpu temps never go over 65°C. The only thing I didn't understand is checking my voltages. I'm not really familiar with what a good voltage would be.

I had this exact issue with my pc a few months ago and after extensive testing it turned out my PSU (also corsair) had gone bad. I'd bet good money that's what your issue is as well, especially going off how you've said it happens quicker in more demanding games. :)
