I bought a second hand p6t delux motherboard for a good price to use with my old Xeon x5650 to make a good gaming rig pared with my gtx 970. I made a usb boot drive with Rufus containing windows 10 pro 64 bit and inserted it into my pc, I opened the bios select it as #1 priority boot device and restarted my pc and then I was greeted by a black screen with a small blinking underscore in the top left corner so I decided to restart my pc again and manually select the pc to boot from the usb boot drive but then I was again greeted by this black screen with a blinking underscore in the top left corner. By now I thought I might have a corrupted usb boot drive and desided to test it by inserting it into my old pc and when I selected it to boot of the usb boot drive it worked so now I’m confused of what could be the problem because the usb works on my other pc but not this one

Why use RUFUS, it is a good tool, but the native Windows Medua cRetaion Tool would gurantee a good USB burn?

I normally have my BIOS set to HDD,USB,CD boot order, with the HDD as default and have never had an issue with Asus based motherboards booting USB.
