I’m thinking about a 1070ti or something not sure on gpu. I will re use power supply but I’m not sure on case is it too old now should
I get a new one?

I’m going to sell GTX 680 and old ram, I doubt the i7 will sell.
For the mb I might be able to get £50

Any advice on my next build would be appreciated. ( what will I need as this will be the first pc I myself personally build )

Solution
I agree with vapour about 2600 (non-x), only difference is clock speed and you can easily push the 2600 the additional 200mhz.

The motherboard is really personal preference. If you want to OC slightly then I would keep what you have. If you don't want to OC you can go cheaper. If you want to OC heavily you want to get a better x470 series.

I agree to add an SSD.

PSU should be ok, but they will all, degrade as they get older.
Case should be fine. Major issue for older cases is airflow. Antec 900 is fine for this.
1. can you find out the exact psu model number?
2. I will add an ssd as well
3. I will get 2600 and a cheaper B450 mb for better bang for the money
4. What games do you play? desirable fps and res? I will just use that 680 for now since it is kind of enough for 1080p 60hz monitor.

I think this is my psu : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/9q4NnQ/evga-power-supply-220g20650y1

And thanks for the advice I think I’ll go for a 2600 as it is considerably cheaper and as long as I can overclock to a degree. That’s good to hear about the case as I was hoping to keep it.

Yes I think I will get a new ssd and maybe move over hdd.

I could sell my GTX 680 for around £70 I have seen but that would mean I’d need to invest in a new one so still not sure.

From the old ram I may be able to get around £40. Just a note it is not critical that I get the pc asap as I’m in year 11 so I will only be playing it a bunch after exams and maybe a bit in holidays.

The games I want to play are arma 3, scum and rust these are the most demanding games I can think of anyway. I’d like to be able to run Arma at higher than low/medium.
