I'm trying to install 4x16GB sticks of dual channel DDR4 RAM into the GIGABYTE X299 AORUS GAMING 7 PRO motherboard with 8 memory slots available. I looked through the included pamphlet and it doesn't show what is the best configuration to install it.
So can anyone suggest -- does it matter if I install all of them together on one side, or interleave, or what?
PS. I tried this tool (for i9-7900x CPU) and it just lights all of them up.
