I had 2 8gb Corsair Vengeance 3000 mhz sticks in my system, i got another 8gb of the same memory and speed i inserted them into my PC and it kept powering off and restarting so i took out the ram and the bios battery it fixes the issue but i can't overclock my memory any further than the lowest which is as default if i do it keeps doing the reboot over and over issue. all 4 sticks of my ram are capable of overclocking to 3000 mhz so see no reason as to why my PC is acting up like this.

this is my ram - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMK8GX4M2B3000C15R-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop/dp/B0123ZBS6O/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1537262274&sr=8-12&keywords=ddr4+ram+8gb+3000mhz

Solution
Well, when i built my brothers pc he kinda had the same problem, he didnt try to overclock it but it did start to do an infinite loop of trying to boot, what i did was to take a little beep code speaker that u plug into ur mobo, then it will beep and u can then search up the beep codes and solve the issue.

Btw my brothers issue was that one of his ram sticks/modules didnt work so we got a new one
Here is an example of the beep code speaker: https://www.amazon.com/Motherboard-Speaker-Desktop-Computer-Internal/dp/B079DKDSJ9
