Looking for advice on a new workstation build. I am building a new computer to replace my current 10 year old computer. This computer will be used for work only, no games. Most work is related to 8-12 Chrome windows open at a time, Skype, Microsoft Office, and occasionally Photoshop or Illustrator. I need this to support 3 monitors, which I already own. 2x Dell U2717D and 1x LG 32MP58HQ-P

I put together a build using Ryzen, however I am open to switching to i7 and/or updating anything with the build. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Ryzen doesn't need a CPU cooler but does need a GPU.
B450 motherboard is newer and cheaper.
Don't use mixed RAM or 4 slots. 2x16GB is better.

Intel performs better for Adobe.

You should get a B450 motherboard because Ryzen 2xxx isn't necessarily compatible with 300 series motherboards out of the box.

You should also get a 32GB kit if you want to go with 32GB. Those 2 kits might work together, but it's best to get a single kit that came of the assembly line together.

I wouldn't' get a Hyper 212 Evo, it's probably about the same as the stock wraith prism cooler that comes with the 2700X. If you're not overclocking, the stock cooler would be just fine, it's much better than Intel's stock cooler, which their K series CPUs don't even come with.

I appreciate you taking time to reply! I use Adobe maybe 1 hour a week, if that. sometimes not at all. How much, if any, of a different would Ryzen make for the other services I use (numerous chrome tabs, Skype, etc) over intel or would it be about the same? The $50 difference doesn't matter, just want to make sure I have the best system option.

One more question for you that I just noticed. With the suggested video card, it only has two ports HDMI and DVI. With my monitors I will be running two Display Ports and one HDMI. Should I look for a video card that has all three of those options?
