Hello, Im planning on building a new PC just to completely upgrade my computer, with black friday so close and the RTX launch, I was wondering if I should wait or it wont really matter. Also, is there anything i should change in the build I was debating whether to get a 8700 or 8700k but im not planning on ocing as I know nothing about it..Also, with the 1080 tis, I was reading that they're going for cheap on ebay, So i dont know if i should wait for black friday or buy an RTX or try ebay. Only thing I really do is gaming and streaming on twitch. Here is the build

Not only did you save $50 but the selections are much better IMHO.

Motherboard: You mentioned you don't need overclocking then there's no reason to spend more on Z370 board. If you just want it for the looks, RGB, and WiFi/Bluetooth then you might like this H370 AORUS from MSI

Memory: Why go boring Corsair LPX when you can get Corsair RGB for the same price 16GB @ 3000Mhz?

Storage SSD: While SSDs are faster than HDD, the new meta now is using M.2 NVME SSD because of this performance difference:

Storage HDD: There's no point in getting 1TB internal HDD anymore since the price difference between of 2TB is too small maybe even get 3TB for $70+

Video Card: GTX 1080Ti is the best you can get right now but if you want to wait for the RTX I suspect it will be challenging to get one unless you pre-ordered it. Because just like how Pascal's demand and shortages last year the prices will inflate and availability will be scarce. BTW I don't trust buying expensive components on eBay unless they are shipping directly from a reputable source like the manufacturer or Newegg. Hopefully this helps.

PowerSupply: Seasonic is one of the best PSU manufacturers in the industry. I trust it like my life depends on it.

Hey man, I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to reply with that information. Also, do you think black friday or cyber monday will discount this build at all? I was hoping it would shave some off the 1080ti. But honestly, just thinking about it well probably just have to wait and see right?

That depends, like where you live, what kind of electronic stores are available around you. I'm lucky to be near a Micro Center which is one of the best places to start because sale or no sale they always have a Motherboard+CPU combo discount of $30~$50 all year round. Usually what they put up on sale on Black Friday are stuff that don't sell @ regular prices. But there's a possiblity that mainstream processors like the Ryzen 5/7 or Intel 8600/8700/K may go on sale. Monitors will most like go on sale just like HDTVs. It's hard to say what else might go on sale or how much but if I'm not shopping in Micro Center on Black Friday I might as well not shop Black Friday at all lol. Fry's Electronics is also another option for PC Components while they're usually priced higher they do price match.

Ebay is wierd. There's a whole bunch of ppl who just have to have the latest and greatest, for no real reason other than bragging rights. So right as new stuff drops, those ppl start selling their existing stuff, just to get a few $ back. Want a $1200 gpu? First sell your old gpu for $500, now the new gpu is only $700 out of pocket. Everybody wins. As long as the old gpu wasn't abused with high OC, high temps, high voltages and the owner is looking to dump the gpu before it fails and is still worth $500.
Ebay is always a gamble with that stuff, no way of telling as electronics don't show any wear and tear until they break.
