I read most post but was unable to find any solution. This is my first PC build. Basically I upgraded my existing HP PC. All parts were compatible from pc part picker.

PC turns on, then off, then on again, off again, on and stays on for few seconds, then off and finally on. It works fine after. Sometime it turns on properly without on/off.

I will try. I contacted Gigabyte and they told me i was using F2 version of BIOS and did upgrade to F10 version. Now it only turns off once instead of three times.

This worked. No problem so far.

From Motherboard Manual

CLR_CMOS (Clear CMOS Jumper): Use this jumper to clear the BIOS configuration and reset the CMOS values to factory defaults.

Always turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before clearing the CMOS values. Use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the two pins for a few seconds.

Turn On system, go to BIOS Setup to load factory defaults (select Load Optimized Defaults).
