OBS and my Acer Predators aren't friendly to one another

Hey guys, I'm a gamer in need of a bit of assistance.
I've had my Acer Predator XB241H (x2) for a while now. Since having them hooked up to my PC, I've noticed a few issues that I'm pretty sure aren't standard. 1, the annoying black screen flickering and display input check that it does when I tab out from a fullscreen application. 2, I can no longer stream or record the games that I play. I use OBS (as most people do) and when I used to stream with a 60hz bunch of numbers HP monitor, I got smooth game play in both recording/stream playback AND gameplay. But now I have no instance of a smooth ride.

I'll use Rainbow Six: Siege for example, as it's one of my most recent games that I've been playing with these monitors. I play the game at full settings (discounting ultra textures) at upwards of 140fps. With G-sync enabled, I get smooth and responsive gameplay. But when I try to stream or even record, it goes out the window. It's somewhat stable at about 90fps (when streaming and recording at the same time) and stutters every 1-2 seconds. It makes it quite difficult to play. Even games like League of Legends, Terraria, Shellshock Live have this issue, and I have no clue why.

I'd love to have some support on this issue. I've tried to record the gameplay and see how it looks, and it's even worse when viewing the recording. It plays like a slideshow. I don't know if there's something flat out wrong with the monitors or if there's some setting that's causing a problem. But it's rather frustrating, and I've spent ages searching the web looking for a solution with nothing to show for it.
Please my people, help me.

Obs has some standard issues...
Mosty of them are because you dont execute it as Administrator others cause of add-ons / plugins.
i would do a clear install of OBS and have it up to date, also having the last version of your video drivers could fix some issues aswell. If you do all this and execute with admin rights you should definitly have no problems ...

I've had this problem for as long as I've had the monitors, it's not just a recent occurrence. Regardless, I uninstalled OBS and my user preferences, and reinstalled it with the most recent link from the website. Ran it with admin privileges, still getting the jagged gameplay and playback. Also, there was a new Nvidia driver patch today, and I was having this problem with older drivers and with the new one from today. So, not sure what else to do.

I suppose asking Acer for some replacements would be the quickest and easiest option. But I'd prefer to find out what is actually causing this problem, as it doesn't seem to be documented anywhere.

Have you tried asking the same thing as this th on the OBS support page ?
Maybe its a fault of them and not your Asus fault...
Also, have you tried recording with Xsplit or any other Streaming / Broadcasting program ?

I have not, and have not. I guess I'll send the same question to the OBS forum or whatever they use for customer support. And like I said, I didn't have this problem before I got these new Acer monitors. So I'm thinking it has something to do with the monitors at this stage, though I suppose it's possible there was an oversight in OBS that I didn't pay attention to. Either way, I'll ask them and Acer about it.

Funny you say that. I actually discovered the problem and have returned to share my findings. I had G-sync enabled with the monitors set to 60hz. Actually kind of disappointed in myself, as one of the first things I did was change the refresh rate of the monitors to 144hz on the day I installed them. Regardless, my problem seems to have been resolved. Running the game at normal fps with no stuttering and G-sync enabled. Thanks for the suggestion though, that would have helped had I not discovered the hertz settings.
