VPN for Public WiFi

Sometimes find myself at major transportation hubs and sometimes would want to connect to the available WiFi which are suspect at best. Is there a VPN product that would allow safe web navigation while teaching me the basics of VPN? Guidance sought.

I'd highly recommend using a paid one. PIA is good. You can find articles reviewing the paid ones. Avoid free VPN's.

Another option is to host your own VPN sever, using something like openvpn. It's pretty difficult to setup, and I don't recommend running inbound services for home use unless you understand the risks.

Well, NordVPN isn't that expensive either, you just got to search online for some deals like this. I am using it, my friend is using PIA and we are both satisfied.
