two laptops have same specs which are as follows:
i5-8250U 4 core upto 3.40Ghz
8GB RAM 1TB hdd and windows 10. Now the only difference lies in their Gpus and displays.
One comes with a 940Mx GPU and the other with the relatively powerful MX150, both with 2GB VRAM. Now here's the catch, The laptop with 940mx has a screen resolution of 1080p while the one with MX150 has a 1366x768p display. Which one would be fps friendly while gaming, without choppy graphics?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards and thanks in advance.

Well, not exactly. 1080p is a lot more pixels, so it looks a lot better - but the more pixels to render the lower the fps as its more work for the gpu.

A laptop with a 1080p screen you can always run games at lower resolution.

Personally, I wouldnt buy a laptop with a screen lower resolution than 1080p, but everyone is different.

The MX150 is a better video card too. So lower resolution plus better video card = good fps experience.
