Hello,
I want some feedback on a Budget PC that I am wanting to build for myself for casual 1080p / maybe 1440p 60fps. I don't really want to go above $1200 aud but if I really need to I can rise my budget to $1300, what parts should I consider upgrading?

Games I'll be playing: R6S, Insurgency, Insurgency Sandstorm, Ashes of Creation.

Some thoughts:

1. You should certainly consider 2x4GB or 2x8GB at 3000-3200MHz, over 1x8GB @ 2666Mhz.
Ryzen (especially 1st Gen and APUs) benefit heavily from faster memory.

2. a 120GB SSD fills up fast. If at all possible, I'd aim for a minimum of 240-250GB

3. While the 1070 Strix is a great card.... for very similar money, you could have an MSI Duke 10708*TI*.... 1080 performacne for (in this case) 1070 money.

4. The PSU isn't great.

Realistically, if you could push the budget to just north of $1,300 AUD, you could net 16GB of DDR4, along with the other changes I've suggested.

This would be my preference of the bunch. 6c/12t + 16GB & a 1070TI is a pretty great quality system. Alternates are dropping your memory down...

If you're sticking to nearer $1,200, then 2x4GB works for ~$1,250 while still getting you the 1070TI + other changes.

OR, right at $1,300 you could do a 2nd Gen Ryzen5 with 8GB.
