Intel i5 4460 failing to update graphic drivers

So I reverted back to my internal graphics using the intel i5 4th gen 4460 after my old GTX 550 ti and motherboard died, forcing me to get a new motherboard. But now, apparently the latest drivers are gone and when I grab the latest drivers from Intel's site here it doesn't work: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=intel+i5+4460
I tried installing the drivers normally using the setup and directly from the zip file and from device manager, it didn't work. It fails to update; even though it says the drivers have been updated nothing was actually done. It refers to an intel 4600 and after I restart, nothing happens.
Here's a dxdiag of my computer specs,

A friend of mine fixed this issue for me a long time ago by editing some files, I think it was a inf file from the zip you get downloading intel's driver update and adding in some lines, I think he added Windows 7 or intel 4460 somewhere in the file. Whatever he did, it worked, and I could play games that required direct x9 and use Windows Aero; as it stands it won't let me open the games I use to play at all with an error saying I need to install direct x or missing manafest.

I hope someone here knows what I'm talking about to help get this installer to work.

Solution
That screenshot does not show anything about the video driver, take a screenshot of that. You can try downloading and running the DX9 setup (I think DX9c is the latest one for that version) and seeing if that helps with the error messages.

Turns out it was corrupt drivers. Once I reinstalled Windows with a clean installation the graphic drivers installed without a hitch. I guess when you swap motherboards with the CPU you really should consider a clean installation. Thanks for everything looking into it.

Yes when changing motherboards it is a very good idea to do a clean Windows setup. I never have done a new system re-using an older Windows setup.
