Does this build look alright

Solution
Almost. Change the psu with this one. Its same price but its one of the best (seasonic) and more power (520W).

Not entirely sure why you are getting a B450 board and a Ryzen 1600. I would spend the little extra and buy the Ryzen 2600, its a better CPU. Id also put a 550 Watt PSU in the system so in the future you can put a stronger GPU in there and not have to worry. Also be sure to look for deals on the Seasonic FOCUS Gold Power supplies, ive seen them on sale/rebate that puts them only about 10 bucks more then a Corsair CX/CXM series.

Your build is nice and all, but with US$180 you can get the much (much) better performance. Here is my recommendation:

The only missing part from my recommendation is SSD, which can be added when you have more budget. Trust me, even though R7 1700 is older and lower clock, but its 8 core 16 thread is not something to laugh about. Its low clock can be overclock when you get the hang of things and standard heatsink can be upgraded later, but its still in a far away time as the cpu itself is capable for current games.
The benefit of the extra $180 are:
1. 8 core 16 thread cpu
2. 2x8 Gb ram
3. GTX 1060 6Gb
With this build you will never need to add any ram until the end of its usage. GTX 1060 is already 2 years, but its still a good gpu. Your choice of R5 1600 is not bad, you can keep it if you want, its just that 1700 price is the best deal to ensure your longer usage of this build.

But its up to you.
