I am currently modding an old dell Optiplex 780 sff by upgrading the RAM, GPU, PSU, and CPU. I have a GTX 570 and plan on putting that in as well but the card is not sff. The Dell Optiplex 780 uses a btx form factor motherboard but I can't find any cases that work with it. Does anyone know anything or could help?
Also, I know that the CPU cooler is in the way of the PCI-e slot, but I plan to get a PCI-e extension so that's fine.

Solution
My advice would be get an Optiplex MT case so you can run an ATX PSU. Also more room for cooling mods.
Some people run an ATX PSU as a "wall wart" outside the case. The wires are long enough.
The SFF BTX heatpipe cooler is the JP911. There was a 90* GPU bracket for the DT size case.

The DT size heatpipe cooler is the RW134. For the MT there are the D9729, T9303.
Other SFF BTX MB to look at are the Opti 380 which has a chipset that supports Xeon swapping up to X5470 but only 2 RAM slots, and the older XPS210 which has a 4 phase VRM and can run a 130W QX6800 SLACP with an overclock...

The PLL on that is CV184-2APAG. SetFSB works. But results can be limited. The rare and expensive X3380 Xeon should work.
I don't think an SFF PSU that can power that GPU exists.
