So my current pc is great (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/KeenanGreen/saved/ZbhHNG) I'm looking to upgrade it soon as i'm getting into streaming and video editing. I've never been good at putting together parts but i think i have a decent list. (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/KeenanGreen/saved/hNFD8d)
When I do upgrade i'm going to use it for gaming and productivity, I just wanted to ask the community if this upgrade would be worth it and if there's any cheaper equivalent parts.

Thanks - Keenan

Hi kdgreen77, overall the upgrade will be better and bring you to 8th gen allowing for great gaming and as impoortanly productivity with the 6 core 8400, which is a very good CPU.

The only thing I would change in your new build is the motherboard to a Z370 like the MSI Z370-A PRO at £89.00. The reason is simple as the z370 motherboards can take the new 9th Gen Intel CPU's in the 9600K, 9800K and 9900K when you next look at upgrading.

Other than that, it will be a step up in gaming and productivity...Good luck.

PS, if you can throw another 2 x 4GB ram at the build, all the better!!!

is abit more, but threw a 2x8gb ram set in there.Could sell the old ram with the other parts.Yes did change other parts as well, but in no way that hurts performance or quality.Prize without ram is under 700 pounds.
