gtx 1080 vs 1080ti.

I currently only have a 24 in 1080p 144hz monitor and i know its overkill right now to go with one of these gpus with either a 8700k or ryzen 2700x, but down the road i will get a 1440p monitor. However im curious if i can get away with getting a regular 1080 instead of the ti to save some money. How big is the difference between the two. Im looking to play esport type games, and world of warcraft raiding. I also stream. I want to get the 1080ti but if i can get away with saving some money and going with just a 1080 that would be great.

If you are going to keep it that long then a GTX 1080 would be good or even a GTX 1080Ti.


You are going to get an 8700K so it would be fine.

I currently only have a 1080p 144hz monitor i dont think ill be able to get a 1440p for a while. I dont work and the stuff im getting now is a gift. I cant decide if i should go with 1070ti 1080 or 1080ti. I need this to last me several years. I do not work due to car accident so i dont have income. So this stuff im getting as a gift. I want to make sure it last me a long time
