Bricked my galaxy s8, can't acces recovery.

So, i've had my galaxy s8 for 3 weeks and decided to root it to get access to all that good stuff. I've never had problems with any of my previous galaxy phones so i was like "easy enough, download that, slap it in Odin, job done" but being the down syndrome Removed i am i probably downloaded cf autoroot for the wrong model and completely bricked my phone and now it just boots saying "Deleting", then turns off and repeats indefinitely. Recovery mode does not work, i can only access the download mode, so the options are two:
-i find a stock firmware and flash it through odin and hopefully Removed my phone
-find a nice comfortable spot in the trash bin for my phone.

I would like to try the first one before the second one.
Where may i find the exact firmware for my galaxy s8? i still have the box with all the stuff in it so i have the specific model number. Sorry if i'm being rude but i am hating myself as much as you are hating me right now.

hmm where to start!! Okay, first thing, we told you so!! ;) Only kidding. I can understand why people want to root their phones, ive done it myself, but it can be more hassle than it's worth for various reasons. My advise, don't bother with it. What you think you gain, you lose 10 times over. Never mind the whole seucirty aspect of it.

With that said have you tried the software on PC for recovery? Smart switch. I think it has a recovery option.

If not, bring it to the store you got it from or a Samsung store and bite the bullet and get it restored from there.

have a snoop around, and make sure you select the right one for your phone! :)

You should use this site for the Official samsung firmware to download them. Just search your model no etc and you will get all the firmwares for it.

Like i said, it can be fun tinkering around with the additional features. Like OC'ing the hardware :) Some free (but possibly illegal) stuff. But with that comes the chance of system instability, phone crashes, glitches and as mentioned, security issues. It's just not worth it IMO.

I've a S8 too. It's a savage phone. Does everything so nice and quickly. It plays all the games i like (on a phone) and is smooth as can be. The Android system at stock is already very configurable, and you can still get most of the apps you want, even if they aren't necessarily on Playstore. Rooting just brings problems, and as fas as I know, voids the warranty on the phone!.......Sssshhhh!! ;)

I regret every second of it. If i had a "Removed go back" button i would be pressing the crap out of it right now, but whats done is done, the knox counter is tripped and half of the stock samsung functions are now forever bricked on my device (secure area, samsung pay etc.). Now that the knox is tripped though i might aswell get funky with it, i have nothing to lose so i will try to root it the right way now.

Yeah that was my first resort but now they removed free downloads and you have to pay to download stock firmwares, but since the knox counter is tripped there is absolutely no point in doing so. Any tips to root it again without screwing everything up?

TBH, no, i haven't rooted since my s5/s6. Some of the exploits are too risky for me.

Good luck with it though. Hope it works out.

SO. i had bricked the phone a couple times because of ...mistakes, but they were all fixable. now though, i "accidentally" enabled OEM lock and rebooted the phone, and the thing is that i have TWRP, so the phone goes "Hey, Removed" and just goes into boot loop. uuuuh any ideas? Pelase don't tell me to flash the stock firmware because the only place where phone firmwares are available are websites with download speeds of 50kbps, taking 2-3 days to download one file. Is there some holy water i can throw at it? can i somehow factory reset it without access to the recovery.
