My ISP is Spectrum.
The plan that I have with Spectrum is up to 200 Mbps.
However, I'm only getting 8 Mbps down when I'm an ethernet cable and wireless.
My other devices like my phone and other laptops are reaching around the 180 mbps (so they're running fine).
How am I able to fix this problem? My ethernet cable says it's receiving 900 million + bytes.
I used to get around 180 mbps down before when using wireless and ethernet.
But for some reason I'm getting 8 down mbps and sometimes even 3 mbps down.
I updated all my network drivers from the dell support website after typing in my service tag for the model of my laptop.

How do I know if my bandwidth is limited? I can log into the website for the router. I use linksys router. I don't think anyone in my household has the ability to enter the website because I changed the password as soon as I got the router.

OK. We get a LOT of posts from people that have been penalized by their siblings or roommates because the other person believes THEIR traffic is more important.

Do you have a modem and router as two devices or a single modem/router combo unit?

I just factory reset my router. I still get 8-10 mbps down. When I run speed test on my router website I get 200 mbps down and 20 mbps up. However, when I run speed test on any other website I get 10 down and 10 up. It feels like 10 down and 10 up because my videos and everything are buffering.

Linksys website: https://gyazo.com/f69fd94f9a1e517d3f4c81720f28e9c1

I'm getting 240 mbps download in speedtest when I'm in safe mode. But I don't want to use windows in safe mode because it's trash. How do I fix?

I don't know if I have Windows install media. How do I check? I haven't done the appropriate virus and malware checks. What program do you recommend? Malwarebytes?

So I run
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
then
sfc /scannow
?
because that's what I did and I got Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations
and I restarted my laptop and I still have 10-12 mbps max
