So today I upgraded to gigayte internet and my question is it worth it to upgrade to a gigabyte ethernet card? I am currently using the stock one from the motherboard and I have already upgraded my ehternet cables all around the house to Cat7 which is I know is an overkill. SO my question is to get a card or not.

A Z87 is not that old.

But...
"LAN Realtek® 8111GR, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)"

AS noted above, it is already gigabit. No need for something else.

"gigabit", not gigabyte.

And the LAN adapter on your motherboard is almost certainly already gigabit capable. No need for a new one.
Which motherboard is this?
