so i went into the registry and did the following. I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SOFTWARE-Intel
Then I added a new key called GMM and created a QWORD called "dedicatedsegmentsize" and put in 2000mb. Now i have 4000mb on my IGPU but 6.4gb ram inted of 8. I changed the value back to 512mb (what it used to be) and restarted my pc and nothing changed (still 6.4GB ram) then I deleted the the GMM folder and key and nothing fixed it. Is there a way to bring back my 1.6gb ram back? (cant go into bios to change because I do not have that option) thanks.

Where did you get information about messing around in your registry? I'd go there and see what they say about reversing the changes.

For future reference, don't mess with your registry unless you know what you're doing. Clues you know what you're doing- you know how to undo any changes you make, you know how to back up and restore your registry, and you're prepared to accept the consequences.

Here is where I found out how to do this (I was aware that it was going to take from my physical RAM but I was just wondering if there was anyway to revert it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JObGphOqi4
