Pc keeps restarting after upgraded ram

Lately, after I upgraded my RAM from 2x2gb to 2x4gb, my pc keeps restarting with a blue screen saying hardware or software has a problem. The ram was the only thing I added. I checked if it was compatible and it was. I also checked the bios and has the ram info

RAM: TimeTech 2x4gb, ddr3, 240 pin, non-ecc, unbuffered, 1333mhz

Motherboard: Asus H87M-plus

Do you now use your old ram along with the new? If not, which slots have you populated?
I opened up the ram compatibility file for your mobo but didn't find any timetech ram in it. Where did find it is tested to be compatible?
If it should be anyway, you can check your ram with a bootable memtest (one stick at a time) and see if you get any errors.
