I upgraded my system to 8th gen and I'm using the Trident Z 8x2 3200 ddr4 ram to an Asus Z370F mobo.
My question is, do I have to separate them a dimm slot apart or is it okay to place them side by side? My old mobo had different colored dimm slots so I know I have to place dual channels on the same color. Im sorry if this is a stupid question but this is the first time I upgraded on my own without any help.
