This is follow up update from this thread I posted in March.
Tl, dr. My PC shutdown because motherboard issue, got it repaired at gigabyte service center in India. Found out CPU went kaput as well. Intel India denied replacement as it was bought in US. Somehow I managed to send it to US through a friend and get it replaced. The Gigabyte technician suggested to change the PSU.
After 6-7 months of wait, I got the CPU and got new PSU, corsair RM750x. I was eagerly waiting to set my PC back again. Out of the box it booted up perfectly, I checked all the components - Graphics card, Cooling pump. After that I assembled it into the cabinet and it booted with C0 debug led. I fixed it by unplugging the RAM again and it booted.
Suddenly while taking the backup, it shutdown again and I felt a burning smell. Turns out motherboard got fried again took the CPU as well. Again. I took it to the service center and they said they'll fix it again. Already super pissed.
All along I was thinking my previous EVGA PSU was causing the issue; heck I've changes my house as well and there is no chance of voltage fluctuation.
Pissed at Gigabyte India's lousy service because the only possibility remaining is that they didn't repair my motherboard properly before and it again wasted my CPU and it'd take me long time to get it replaced, if at all possible.
What should I do now ? Can I ask them for full replacement? As per them they can only repair it and there still remains an uncertainty if it'd be fixed properly this time.
