Windows isn't reading one of my memory slots (Please Help)(Update)

I am currently using a i7-7800x with a MSI X299 Raider (8 slots of memory capacity),

Just recently bought the Corsair Vengeance LPX 32g (4 x 8) 2400Mhz, and for some reason when I go into the MSI bios the mother board is picking up that 4 slots are in use but when I boot windows it says 3/8 slots are in use (should be 4/8).

Currently I've tried a couple of things: Before hand I checked compatibility, my CPU supports quad-channel memory/2400Mhz memory, and up to 128gb of memory, while my motherboard supports up to 8 channel memory supporting my current frequency of memory up to 3400Mhz and I checked the manual to verify I was using the right slots for quad channel memory; its not picking up my first slot of memory, I've switch the cards around to make sure it wasn't a dead one; and I've gone into my system config to make sure there was no cap on memory being used and attempted to set the memory cap to 32GB to make sure.

I am at a complete loss due to the fact that my motherboard bios pics up the memory but for some reason windows does not pick up that specific slot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I put my old memory into the motherboard in combination with the new memory the old memory also being corsair vengeance only its 16gb (2 x 8) @ 2133Mhz, I followed the manual for which slots to use and now rather than having 6/8 slots in use its only using 4/8 slots at a total of 32GB rather than 48GB

Use the 16GB (2x8GB) 2133mhz, update the chipset driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775
Keep in mind, if you mix the RAM, they will run at the lowest speed, in your case it is 2133mhz.

After done the update, that shut down the PC, and clear the CMOS by the jumper, and boot into the BIOS, enable the XMP profile in the memory section, check your MB manual to see where you can enable the XMP. After that shut down the PC again, add the other RAM, 32GB ( 4X8GB), boot into the BIOS again, make sure you did enable the XMP, and boot the PC.

If you still have the same problem, and the problem should be the compatibility problem, because you mix two set the RAM ( the 16GB + the 32GB), usually they may or may not be play well...

If you can use all the RAM, you may tweak the timing, voltage, and oc the RAM to 2400mhz, but again you may or may not oc to the 2400mhz.
