AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Pinnacle Ridge CPU is out, but my motherboard isn't compatible with it. What should I do?

Hello, guys!

I have a list of the components of my PC:

MSI B350 Tomahawk
NZXT H500 Matte White
Samsung 860 EVO(250GB)
MSI GeForce GTX1060 OC D5 3GB
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Pinnacle Ridge
CORSAIR CX650 80PLUS BRONZE
G.SKILL DDR4 8G PC4-19200 CL15 AEGIS

Unfortunately, the BIOS of the motherboard and the CPU isn't compatible yet (The CPU is new). And that poses a problem. The Motherboard needs to be updated with an older CPU, but it isn't available in Korea anymore. Any help... please?

Solution

Prizes differ and new parts come, like new cpu's from Intel for instance,so better ask then again.

If going for the Ryzen 2600 get at least a B450 motherboard for compatibility. The old (B350/X370) probably don't have the right bios and there's no way of updating it without another compatibel cpu. Some brands have a way around ,but those are often expensive motherboards.

I'm going to buy what is listed on Februrary of 2019; right now, I am caculating the price and the wattage using (https://pcpartpicker.com/). That's where I found the problem with the compatbility. Will the B350 Tomahawk receive enhancements to the BIOS, so I don't have to update it?

Oh, I see that now. Since B450 Tomahawk is a bit expensive, Is it okay if I get a MSI B450 Gaming Plus Motherboard?
