So, as title says, i might have the worst pc problem ever. I have kind of come to accept that gaming on my computer is no longer possible, so this is pretty much my last hope before i throw the thing out the window and burn it...
the problem:
* pc is overall slow, browsing on the internet, booting etc.
* (biggest problem) i cant really game anymore. eg. when playing counter strike, i will have about 100 fps, and a VAR on about 1 to like 50 at times. when playing tho, i guaretee you, its max 10 fps. i used to be getting 300+
at first this was only on csgo, now it seems it has spread to other games, as GTA V is insanly laggy.
Ive literally tried everything, and recently reset my computer. Ive tried to dissasemple all the parts and cables, and put it all back together again.
specs:
i5-6600k
msi gtx 970
z170a gaming 7
16 gb 2400mhz ddr4
650 watt RM650x
coolermaster cpu cooler 212
ssd (windows)
hdd (nothing on it)
personally i think CPU could be the problem. in bios, it says 0.8 CPU frequency. in task manager it says 0.77. since problem started, ive like never seen the cpu run over 10% usually around 1-2% usage.
good cooling all around. cpu is 16 degrees as im wrting this.
For the record, i read something about a hyper PI benchmark in here, i tried it out, and got 50 sec! to my understanding, 30 sec is BAD!
if anyone is familiar or have ANY idea of what the problem could be, i will appreciate ANY help, and probably even send some money if anyone comes up with a solution that fix the problem
