How do you convert a 8tb RED NAS pull from the external Easystore for use in an
ASUStor NAS - I reformated to drive to GBR and left the partition unallocated - plugged
into the NAS box and it did not recognize the drive. What am I missing? Seems like it should
be simple. Drive works nicely on an external hookup so it must be something I have missed.
Thanks for any help.

Solution
right click on start, select disk management, look for the 8tb drive (it should be unallocated) right click on that drive, select initialize disk, then create new volume. and ive never heard of convert GBR, i've heard of MBR, and GPT. you'll want the drive GPT. if you have a PC built within the last 5 years or so
