Hello.
I'll be honest, I'm new to building PCs and the more I read about compatibility between the AMD CPU and the memory, the more confused I am. So I'd like to ask a simple (I hope) question: will G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x8GB, 3000MHz, CL16 (F4-3000C16D-16GTZR) work well with AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and a Gigabyte X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI?
It is listed in the mobo's QVL, but there's this problem I've been reading, that CL16 memory won't let me have this 3000MHz. Is it true?
