Yesterday i found a 8gb DIMM G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz (F3-2400C10D-16GTX), but I only have one DIMM of the 2x8 kit.
In my PC I have installed 2x4 G.Skill Sniper 1600mhz (F3-128000CL9-4GBSR) and when i put the Trident X on my build, the bios only says 8gb installed, but if i check the ram installed, it appears to be working. In Windows says "16gb Installed (8gb Utilizable)".
I need help to make the Trident X work with Sniper, to get 16gb.
My PC:
Cpu: AMD FX 8120
Ram: 2x4 G.Skill Sniper
Motherboard: Asus M5A99X EVO
Gpu: ASUS R9 390X
Psu: Thermaltake Smart 750w
