Computer shutting down when stressed

It may sounds obvious but it wasn't until recent that started happening. Whenever I change the maximum processor energy, on advance energy settings, from 95% to anything over that whenever there is an intense use of the processor like opening a game or running a stress test the computer crashes, problem with this is that I don't know what causes the problem because since it crashes the stress test doesn't log what happens and every BIOS check I did turned out normal (I have to say that I did them after changing the settings back to 95%). If anyone has an idea of what could be and or what could I try I would really appreciate it.
Additional information:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 03.73.02A13
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4930MX CPU @ 3.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 32768MB RAM
It’s an Alienware notebook, model is Alienware 18

Solution
Well obvious answer is that your system is getting too hot of you're getting ~70c on idle. Make sure the fans are actually working, vents and heatsinks are clear of dust/ dirt and you may even need to reapply thermal compound.

Without opening anything it’s reching about 69ºC average, never over 70ºC

And this only happens when I try to run games, or stress tests, and I can’t get a reading on temperature because it shuts down inmediatly.
