Hello everyone, i just build my new pc and when i try putting in the ram according to the manual it wont show up.

I have a Ryzen 5 2600X
A Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING Motherboard
and G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3000Mhz RGB ram. According to the motherboard manual the reccommended ram installation is like this https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/ROG_STRIX_B450_F_GAMING/E14401_ROG_STRIX_B450-F_GAMING_UM_WEB.pdf?_ga=2.209549202.1694156256.1537855179-924665019.1537855179

it's on page 19 but whenever i put it in like that, the one all the way on the right lights up but the other one wont show any lights and speccy say's i only have 8 GB

I have the same Mobo. So just to be sure, you are putting in on the A2 and B2 slots - correct?

Does your computer turn on in any way? If yes, set the RAM speeds to 2133Mhz first and at 1.2v. Then, you update the BIOS. Only then, do you set it to 3000Mhz at 1.35v.

Yes When i put one in the A2 slot and one in the B2 slot it say's that it's single channel and it's only picking up the one in the B2 slot because the RGB lightning of the one in the A2 slot wont turn on either. but when i put both sticks in B2 and B1 it works fine.Only problem i have is that it say's it's single channel.
