I have an Abit AX78 motherboard and currently have an AMD Phenom 8450 triple core CPU and a GTS 250 GPU.I am not really strong on money, but I plan on buying from someone an AMD Phenom II X4 965 and a GTX 560 ti.I am pretty sure the AMD Phenom II X4 is compatible, but I am not so sure about the GPU.Anyone have any advice?

Solution
Yeah should be fine, but you need to list your PSU. I believe the 560 ti needs two 6 pin pci-e power cables. A half decent 500w psu would be needed.

Thanks a lot, I will take that into consideration! Maybe I'll buy a GPU that needs a bit less power. Maybe a GT 640 or something.Or I just have enough power for this one too.Well, like I said thanks!

The GT 640 is pretty rubbish to be honest. If you could find a GTX 750 that would be a good option as they dont usually require external power connectors but offer reasonable performance.

Ah thanks once again! That sounds pretty good actually. Then I will wait some more to save up money to buy it.I'm getting a completely new build next year. It'll have an i5 8600k,a GTX 1060 6GB,G.SKILL Ripjaws v 3200MHz 16GB,Seagate Barracuda 2TB,Samsung 860 EVO 250GB,Corsair CX600 600W,and a Asus PRIME Z370-A motherboard.I will also get an 24 inch 1920x1080 monitor, and new headphones, mouse and mouse pad and keyboard.I'm saying this upgrade is only so I can at least play games that require DX11 on at least 30 fps, which is acceptable for me.Thanks friend!
