I recently built a system with a ryzen 7 1800x and an msi b350 tomahawk motherboard. I had the system running smoothly for about a month then I decided I wanted to overclock. So I looked up how to do it. But when I went to my bios to change the CPU ratio it was grayed out thus preventing me from changing it. I searched everywhere and couldn't find anyone with the same issue. Has anyone had this issue before and knows how to fix it?

I've a B350 Mortar (basically like a Tomahawk in mATX form) and I've never had that happen to me.

Have you installed MSI's overclocking or hardware monitor utility? I'd un-install all of MSI's utilities simply because they're garbage and you can get much better ones elsewhere.

Have you tried using...

Have you tried using RyzenMaster utility to overclock with? It generally works very well, better even than BIOS except it has to be run to load the OC profile every time you restart Windows.

Did you try a CMOS reset? It might be helpful and I'd do the battery-pull reset just to make sure.
