RDIMM and UDIMM compatibility

So, I reckon Registered DIMM (Buffered DIMM) is not compatible with this chipset?: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c01709709

I'm having difficulty finding DIMM's with ECC but Unbuffered :/

There are V1 and V2 versions of the Z600 motherboard. I can't tell if the ability to support registered memory is only a V2 feature.

Ok, so I think I've determined that my board is a V2 board (SP#591184-001, see picture in link below)?
I can't seem to find any confirmation/documentation that my board supports REG/Buffered DIMM anywhere, got a handy link to me perhaps?

I have a E5640 CPU installed.
