Hello, i have recently bought a 480gb ssd and would like it to replace my existing ssd, 240gb, by moving all of my files including windows to the new ssd. Is there an easy solution or do i have to reinstall windows including all of my apps and software?

NOTE. The software I've used for cloning in the past often makes the assumption that the Partition it creates on the new storage device should be the SAME size as the old one. That is NOT how most people want it - your case of going to a larger new device is typical. So when configuring the Clone application for your job, watch closely what size it says it will make the Partition on the new SSD to accept the clone copy. If necessary, use the menu options to change that to the whole space of the new SSD.
There is an easy solution.

You need to power down, connect the new drive, make sure it's recognized....initialize, partition and format it and then clone the old drive to the new drive,

When you are done you need to go into the BIOS and tell it to boot from the new drive.

You can clone the drive, but I'd recommend a clean install.

Disconnect the old SSD, install the new. Clean install the OS making an install USB from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

One Windows is installed (skip when asked for a key) and online, reconnect your old SSD and migrate your bulk data to the new SSD, formatting the old once complete.

You could then move bulk data to the old SSD, if you wanted to.
