Bought Motherboard, Not sure where to put power.

I've bought a Gigabyte GA-H77-DS3H motherboard for my PC, and I'm not sure where to hook up the power. I've got the 24 pin plugged in, and 2 CPU (4 pin each) connectors into an 8 pin slot. However, the CPU Fan and GPU don't seem to power up. My PSU is the EVGA 600W, any help?

Solution

I would still do the breadboarding outside the case. With no peripherals attached and no chance of anything in the case shorting the board (extra standoff installed maybe?), and no defective case FP wiring involved... you should be able to get an idea if the board itself is the problem.

GTX 1030, Intel i5 gen2, rosewill - tyrfing atx mid tower case, 8g RAM (soon to be doubled), GA-H77-DS3H, EVGA 600W, UpHere CPU cooler (LGA1155 socket and ARRGEEBEE), 1tb western digital HDD.

That's an older motherboard. Did you buy it used?
Might try breadboarding the board outside the case on an insulated surface with just CPU/cooler, RAM, monitor to iGPU (no card), and PSU. Start by momentarily shorting the 2 pins that the power switch would go to. Which 2nd gen i5 are you using?
