Noctua 40mm fan PSU Replacement Help

Hi all,
I recently ordered a Noctua 40mm fan to replace the noisy stock 40mm fan on my 1U PSU. However I overlooked that the stock fan is 20mm thick, but this Noctua fan is only 10mm. Will it still be good enough for the power supply or should I return it for a 20mm thick Noctua?

I would return it for the correct size of fan. For the reason that the mounting screws will not be usable on the thinner fan. The air flow may not be that different.
