so I've been searching for which one of these two are better the i7 8700k or the ryzen 7 2700x and as it is obvious the ryzen 7 beat the i7 in multitasking but after the adobe premiere update which takes advantage of the integrated gpu inside the i7 the i7 beat the ryzen in export times and in gaming the i7 wins soo is there any point in going for the ryzen 7 2700x? what can i do with these two extra cores that the i7 wont do?

If it's just adobe and gaming, the i7 seems like a better choice, however I would not purchase any hardware just yet. Intel is about to release their new generation. What are your current specs?
I think it depends on what you are planning to do with the PC and what you wanna spend for it.
AMD offers the better value for money, but Intel is still better in raw performance (at least in most cases).

If all you care about is performance in Adobe then you can go with Intel since it offers more performance as you said.
For Gaming i would also go with Intel since the Higher Clock speeds are great and not even a hand full of games support more then 4 cores.

Is there anything else you might use the PC for? AutoCAD for example?

How is it any "easier" or "less risky" to install an intel processor? Its the same process...As far as temps go maybe you have a point if you are talking about the older FX series, especially the abysmal 9590, but ryzen is actually icy cool...

The risk with someone like Linus dropping the CPU would result in bent CPU pins where as the motherboard pins are protected.

So you are basically saying the whole amd architecture design is "bad" in your opinion because Linus has a tendency to drop things? Wow...

Yes

Bro I got nothing to hide I have no credit card that he can steal and all of my personal information that I dont give a shit about like seriously I don't work for no FBI or anything so if somebody wants to use those "security holes" there will be no need i will just upload it to a flash drive and give it to him also specture and meltdown are fixed by now so yeah
